The Hoffman Institute

Imagine waking up in a strange place with no memory of how you got there and no recollection of your life before that moment. You’re name, your parents, your home town, all unknown tidbits of information that your mind simply doesn’t seem to have and if that wasn’t strange enough something about you feels … different. For the students of The Hoffman Institute of Higher Learning this is their reality.

After just a few moments at the school, it becomes very clear that the students of The Hoffman Institute are not normal teens. All gifted with unique psychic abilities, the institute is devoted to nurturing the relationship between psychic and power. To teach them to unlock their full potential and unique destiny, whatever it may be.

Just as unique as it’s students is the Hoffman Institute itself. A foundation active for the past 50 years, the Hoffman campus is not only a historical landmark, a prestigious and exclusive education institute, but the campus itself also houses one of the counties most coveted and rare collections of antiquities from across the globe.

Mixed within their normal daily classes, the students of Hoffman are educated in the rules of survival for someone of their particular ‘uniqueness’, after all they are not the only thing within this reality that possess paranormal abilities. They discover through history lessons and exhibits, and trial and error that below the rationalities of the reality that so many cling to rests a world of unseen creatures, mystical artifacts, and untapped powers. And this world is a dangerous one.

But why are the students really there? Why do they have no memory of their lives before the academy, and how are they going to survive the year with so many odds stacked against them. From cursed items to prowling monsters in the night, to an ominous headmaster, nothing at the Hoffman Institute is what it appears.

Season One

With the theme just kicking off, the story will be directed toward the newest student body of the illusive and prestigious Hoffman Institute as they try to cope with their new life, discover the untapped potential of their psychic abilities, and uncover the tricks, manipulations, and secrets of Hoffman Institute and its mysterious headmaster Mr. Wesley. Players should get to know their fellow cast and begin leading their characters development through the twists and turns of the illusive and shady lining of Hoffman.
