The Most Important Rule
1) You must be at least 18 years of age to play this game.
2) Respect is mandatory for all players, Storytellers, Wizards, and guests. This game will not tolerate anything less. If you are caught being disrespectful towards anyone, be it on channel, OOCly, in @mails, or in pages we will delete your characters and lock you from the server.
3) Everyone knows that the worst thing in a RP game is people who post nothing but short 1 and 3 liners. This game supports and enforced a PQ of 80 words or more.
4) The Storytellers and Wizards are here to help you! We cannot stress that enough. If you need to find a Wizard or Storyteller quickly type +Staff to see a listing and their availability or use @mail.
5) Be active. One scene a week isn't active. We understand that people go on vacations and RL can deal hardships and trouble, however, Wizards expect that players will go to the necessary lengths to tell the game when they will be away for a while. This should be done by making a post on the Vacations Board. It is not the Wizards responsibility to remember who said they would be away on channel. Characters inactive for 4 weeks will be idle reaped without question. Character holding a position on Next-Gen will be placed on probation after 2 weeks of idleness, their character will ICly be removed from the team after 3.
6) The theme is based on the Mutants & Masterminds Claremont Academy and directed toward high school characters. For this reason characters over the age of 16 will not be approved.
7) Staff require an active email or Wiki account to be listed to play here. Staff will for absolutely no reason contact you after the application process unless there is an important reason such as a server move or lengthy downtime.
8) We respect your right to have your own personal opinions of things, however, we also reserve the right to have guidelines and limitations of tolerance about specific things. Racial slurs and other disparaging remarks towards a specific race/gender/group/ethnicity/political standing will not be tolerated regardless of its nature. Joke or not. We do not care if you are from that race/gender/group/ethnicity in real life. It is NOT appropriate here. Punishment for such a violation will be at the discretion of the staff and game owner.
These rules are subject to change, but with notice; check them from time to time, as ignorance will not be accepted as an excuse.
