Throughout history, in every corner of the world, legends and myths of enchanted, haunted items have forever been part of folk lore. From the mirror in the story of snow white capable of showing the queen the object of her desire, to the twisted tale of the monkeys paw, these items, despite the story, always possess two like aspects. One, they are a seemingly mundane item and two, they seldom bring anything good to the world around them.
Despite the dangerous properties of these mystical artifacts, if welded correctly they can give the soul that possessed them great power. It is for this reason, despite the danger they can bring to an uneducated person, people throughout history have stolen, murdered, and died trying to obtain these items. It is for this reason that The Organization seeks to eliminate the threat the outside world, by obtaining these items, of course, with some of the objects being priceless (and famous) things, sometimes it takes a sneaky, if not illegal hand to get the item out and safely into the Organizations containment chamber. Then again, many agents have often wondered … are there other motives behind their directors intentions.
